1. Introduction and controller

AudioHub ("we", "our", or "us") operates the audiohub.live platform, a link-in-bio service for musical artists. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal data when you use our website, dashboard, billing flows, and public artist pages.

For purposes of Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD — Law No. 13.709/2018), AudioHub acts as the controller of personal data processed to provide the Service. Contact: privacy@audiohub.live / hello@audiohub.live.

2. Personal data we collect

Depending on how you use AudioHub, we may process:

  • Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and artist profile details (slug, bio, branding settings).
  • Content you upload: images, audio files, links, tour/schedule events, merchandise items, theme preferences, and publishing status.
  • Billing data: subscription status and Stripe customer/invoice identifiers. Card numbers are processed by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.
  • Usage and analytics data: dashboard activity and public-page events such as page views, link clicks, ticket/merch clicks, track plays, and approximate session duration.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser/user agent, device information, CSRF/session tokens, and cookies or similar technologies (see Section 6).
  • Communications: messages you send us and transactional emails we send to you (welcome, password reset, billing receipts, account notices).

3. Purposes and legal bases (LGPD)

We process personal data for the following purposes and legal bases under the LGPD:

  • Provide the Service (create accounts, host profiles, serve media, publish pages) — performance of a contract (Art. 7, V).
  • Process Pro subscriptions ($19/month via Stripe) — performance of a contract (Art. 7, V).
  • Security, fraud prevention, and abuse detection — legitimate interest and/or legal obligation (Art. 7, II and IX).
  • Product analytics and improvement (including anonymous or aggregated metrics) — legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX), and, where required for non-essential cookies, consent (Art. 7, I).
  • Transactional communications — performance of a contract and legitimate interest (Art. 7, V and IX).
  • Comply with legal duties (tax, accounting, lawful requests) — legal obligation (Art. 7, II).

4. How we use your information

  • Operate and improve AudioHub (Free and Pro features, themes, publishing, analytics dashboard).
  • Display your public artist page to visitors worldwide.
  • Generate temporary signed URLs for privately stored audio files.
  • Manage billing, invoices, cancellations, and (when applicable) admin premium grants.
  • Send essential service emails and respond to support requests.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and protect the platform.

5. Sharing with processors and third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with processors and partners that help us run the Service, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations, including:

  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Cloud storage providers — for example Cloudflare R2 (S3-compatible) for audio and images in production.
  • Email delivery providers — transactional mail.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — application and database hosting.

We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a corporate reorganization, always within the limits of applicable law.

Content you publish on your public page (profile text, links, artwork, track metadata, etc.) is intentionally visible to visitors. Do not publish information you do not want to make public.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and, with consent when required, to measure engagement.

  • Essential cookies: session authentication, CSRF protection, and security-related cookies required for the dashboard and forms to work.
  • Analytics / preference cookies: for example a visitor identifier cookie (ah_visitor) used to distinguish unique visitors on public artist pages for analytics (page views and related events). Preference storage for cookie consent decisions may also be kept in your browser (localStorage).

When you first visit AudioHub marketing or public pages, we present a cookie notice so you can accept analytics cookies or continue with essential cookies only. You can change your mind later by clearing site data for audiohub.live or contacting us. For more detail on cookie categories, see this Privacy Policy and the on-site cookie banner.

7. International transfers

AudioHub serves international artists and may process or store data in countries other than your own (including through Stripe and cloud infrastructure). Where the LGPD applies, we take steps to ensure transfers rely on appropriate safeguards or another lawful mechanism under Articles 33 et seq. of the LGPD.

8. Retention

We retain account and profile data while your account remains active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or needed for legitimate purposes such as dispute resolution, security logs, or billing records. Analytics event data may be retained in aggregated or hashed form for product statistics.

9. Your rights under the LGPD

If the LGPD applies to you, you may request:

  • Confirmation of processing and access to your data.
  • Correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data.
  • Anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary or excess data.
  • Portability of data to another provider, where technically feasible.
  • Information about public and private entities with which we share data.
  • Information about the possibility of denying consent and consequences.
  • Withdrawal of consent, where processing is based on consent.
  • Review of decisions based solely on automated processing, where applicable.

You can exercise many of these rights directly in your account settings (profile edits, subscription management, account deletion). You may also email privacy@audiohub.live. You may lodge a complaint with Brazil’s Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD).

Depending on your location, other privacy laws (such as GDPR) may grant similar rights; we will honor applicable requests.

10. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including hashed passwords, HTTPS, access controls, and private storage with signed URLs for audio where configured. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

AudioHub is directed to adults and professional artists. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email when appropriate.
